Canyon X, Nov 9, 2017

Canyon X is an upper tributary to Antelope canyon but not nearly as popular. We were allowed to spend about one hour taking photos without interruption from other visitors.

This is the first time I tried a bracketed set combined into an HDR with Lightroom. There is a lot to look forward to using this method of slot photography

This is a single shot taken with a small aperture to maximize depth of field. And a low ISO to increase dynamic range, It also was focused manually because it is too dark for autofocus to work. About a 60 second time exposure on a tripod.

The areas of indirect light seem to have the best color. But it is hard to focus in the dark and time exposures can go over 60 seconds.
