Hamblin Peak Jan 2020

Hamblin peak trail begins at the pullout on Northshore rd just past MM18. It goes south  following washes and occasionally going over a gap to another wash. distance is betreen 6 and 7 miles and elevation is around 1100 ft.

You gain elevation and get a view of the North bowl of fire here. Ravens balcony is at the top of the redrock ridge.

This is the view from the trail into Pinto Valley where Signature rock is visible as a little light colored triangle at the bottom of the photo

From the ridge near the peak toward Las Vegas and Mt Charleston.

The actual summit is in this group of rocks. It is tricky to cli9mb over them to get to the real high point. This is as close as I have been.
