Little Finland is in Gold Butte south of Whitney Pocket about 18 miles. It is a landscape of intricate sandstone formations. The white on the rocks is either salt, or calcium carbonate or other type of alkali.
We did find some new to us petroglyphs this time.
In direct sunlight the color of the rock is more like this,
Along the edge of the escarpment are many seep springs where palm trees grow.
